ABM has also written intercessions for each week of Lent. The intercessions follow the regular pattern of prayer in the Anglican Church of Australia (exc. Palm Sunday). They have used the Anglican Communion’s 5 Marks of Mission as the basis for the intercessions. Feel free to adapt them for use in your ministry setting. You can download the intercessions as a Word document or as a PDF.
The ABM “Lent 2015” App provides you with a reflection, prayer and listening action for every day of Lent. Over the 40 days of Lent the App will introduce you to some of ABM’s partners and how they are involved in making God’s love known upon earth. The App explores various facets of what mission is, e.g. reconciliation, building amity, loving your neighbour, embracing kindness, doing justice, and walking a way of peace. During Lent, in prayer and action, you can witness that mission is possible. You can download the Smartphone App in the Apple and Android stores! Find out more here.
An interactive web version of the App Lent Calendar can also be found on our App designer’s web page. Please follow this link.
